Keyboard port on X68000 Compact XVI no longer works?

Hey, y'all.  I've got a keyboard that works fine on one of my Compact's, but the keyboard port on another one is totally dead, with multiple keyboards.  Anybody familiar with this problem or can maybe guide me before I pop it open?

Could be something as simple as a broken trace on the keyboard port.  However I can say my XVI started having lots of keyboard issues about a week before the old PSU died (everything else worked fine).
