Hey everyone,

So is there any way to check how much free space is left in an HDS image? SCSIFormat.x tells me that my virtual hdd is initialized with 899MB. My computer tells me the files i am moving to the HDD total around 800MB. However, eventually the copy operation stops working because my HDD is reported as full. However, i have less than 800MB of files on it.

How could this be? How can i fix it?

Open the .HDS file in DiskExplorer and see how muhc space is left in the partition.

Just type dir at the prompt, and it will tell you how much free space there is on the current partition just like in DOS.

I struggled for disk space on the current image so I just created 2 partitions of 1gig each and transferred the files to them. Now have loads of free space and everything from HD Image V4 and the new Mini Image has been transferred to them. (Games 1,2 & 3 to first partition - All Multimedia, Games 4 and Tools to the second)

However, you may need to change the !Start.bat on some games due to the drive changes. (The floppies will now be C & D instead of B & C)
