Hello everyone, but does anyone own one of these?

I'm looking to purchase one.

I'd like to know two things.
1. Does anyone have any problems with it? Degrading image quality compared to say an internal mod (I unsuccessfully tried it)
2. I'm looking to mainly use it to support 15kHz RGB. But it only seems to output 31kHz. Anyone know if it's easy to open it up so I could potentially add a switch to ground one of the pins?

they're easy to open up. i had to open mine and de-solder/re-solder all the connections for both cables going into the box. they were a mess.

Glad to hear! Adding a switch then shouldn't be too difficult. It's just a matter of having Mode select 1 be floating or grounded!

Couple of questions,
1. In this case, how easy is it to open up? Just a screw?
2. Do you mind taking a couple of pictures of the insides? I'd like to know if it's possible to drill a hole in order to fit a switch comfortably on top.

Judging from the table (here), it seems to be unaligned. There aren't 16 pins for an HD-15 connector.

Thanks again!

mine has a pair of screws holding it together, unlike your picture there.

i open it up and... there's a whole bunch of empty space on the console side of the box - i doubt it would be too hard to fit a small switch in there.

Thanks. I might as well just e-mail the seller.
