PAL Atari 7800 S-Video Mod

Hi Guys,
Wondering if someone here has managed to create a mod for a Pal Atari 7800?
i have completed a basic composite mod which grabs the video signal just before the RF unit then amplifies it using a transitor and a couple of resistors.
The quality of 7800 is not too but but 2600 games show a lot of artifacts.
I see heaps of S-Video mods for the NTSC 7800 models but none that have been used and work on a PAL model.
I have tried to adapt a NTSC mod to PAL without success.

Has anyone done a mod on a PAL 7800 and if so what direction did you take?
