Genesis 1 tweaking...

I was wondering if there is any mod that I can do to my Genesis 1 to get a better video signal. The signal in the Genesis is pretty weak.

Also, how do I mod it to play imports?

You didn't say what kind of video connection you are using.  To summarise:

RF... crappy interference yukky!!!
Composite... well a bit better... but not much!
S-Video... better, best you'll get often in the US
RGB... ahh, now we're talking!  NO signal conversion, much better!

The mod diagrams *were* on this site, i'm sure.  Do a google search for megadrive 50 60 mod... you'll find it (there's definately a text version in an FAQ somewhere).

Basically its like the 50/60 mod.. and pretty straight forward

Genesis 1 has native RGB output. But only the euro RGB adapater is suitable. But image is great
