The pen trick help?

I have tried melting a pen and putting it in the screw of my snes console, but it never molds correctly and so when I turn it, nothing happens.

BreakingBread, please don't double post if you can help it. Have you tried using a 5/8 inch hex driver to remove the line-head screws? If you hold is straight and apply the appropriate pressure in the direction of the screw, you might be able to remove the bolts that way. You won't be able to use the same tool to tighten them again, but it might not be a bad idea to replace the fasteners with a more conventional type anyway.
