I just got my famicom yesterday and i can't tell if it's fried or not. The seller told me that it worked perfectly, but whenever i turn it on, i can't seem to get an image on any channel. Even when I plug in the famicom disk system, the red access light does not turn on. Does this mean it's fried, or is there something else i have to do?

What region are you in? If you've got an original model Famicom, then the RF output is your only option and might not be compatible with your TV, even if it's NTSC. Check all the channels that JPN-region consoles typically output to.
