SNES Blue Screens Randomly while using Composite Cable

I dusted off my SNES and tried to play a few different games and on practically everyone I tried, I would lose my picture and audio signal with the SNES. I kept thinking that the SNES lost power but when I looked down, I  would see the light indicating the system is still on.

I don't know if it matters, but these composite cables were the ones I mainly used with my Gamecube. Does anybody know what my problem could be??

Oops, sorry, I read "RGB" instead of composite.  My answer is useless.

Dirty carts... The copy/region lock chip on the console is losing communication to the other chip on the cartridge due to poor contact. The game boots and plays for a bit. Once the contact is lost, the security chip holds down the CPU/graphics chip reset down, causing the image signal to stop being sent. Result is your TV showing a blue screen.  Try to hold down the reset button while it's working and you will have the same effect.
