Megadrive 50/60hz mod doesn't working...

Hi

I modded to my pal megadrive  50/60HZ switch but when i  switched to 60hz it turns power off to my megadrive.

I did use this tutorial http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/md1switches.htm and i did all  correctly (i think). Also i added that Jpn/Eng switch and that too turns power off to my megadrive if i used it.

So can anyone tell what i could do to get this mod to work?

Have you cut out the existing links?
A picture of your mod would help...

your cut is probably not dep enough or otherwise not good... you could omit the +5V line from the switch since the signals are all pulled up internally and won't fluctuate. That way you'll not be shorting one of the power rails when things aren't great, the switch would not seem to fucntion in failure case.

Are the green wires connected to middle pins on the switches ? The cuts seem good, but you can never be too sure

Ok. Now the Jpn/Eng switch works but the 50/60hz still not. Maybe i still need to make deeper cut.

Yes. Green wires are connected to middle pins.

Alright! Its works now! I just needed to make deeper cut. Thanks a lot your help!
