AAaaargghhhh.. wiki pain

hey, lawrence do you keep old versions of the wiki? i wrote up a snes contollers accross regions page a while back. it was far more comprehensive than the gamesx snes side mod (in included it), and i didnt save a copy at my end, it took me hours to do. basically i guess i never expected itd be deleted, but i think i know why, the friend i had in the uk hosting all my photos moved somewhere (i cant track him down) and took down his website and fileserver.. so all the pretty pictures i took of every region controller interior and how to do the mods would have disappeared.
ill take more photos if you can supply enough of the old page, id also concider it a great favour if you could return the work to me, even a later version would be great (i know it got edited, probably for the better).
if you can get me anything, ill put it back on the wiki all fixed up.

theres a complete backlog of copies from all the way back to the beginning of time.
found it, and even the pics are there, i must have uploaded them all.

Heehee, yeah.  That's why the wiki's such a great idea, and why it's so easy to recover from vandalism - or little oopsies.  =)

in the end it turns out theres still a current link to it, it just took me an hour to find it.
lawrence, are you eventually going to wikify the currently gamesx pages linked to in the wiki? itd make reintegrating my page into a good place alot easier.

i mean, theyre links outside the wiki, uneditable. just wonering if there were plans to change that?

I've been wikifying the old links so the main page points to the wiki pages, but it's slow going and I confess I haven't really put a lot of effort into it.  Ideally I'd like to replace all the mainpage links with wiki links, but there are a lot of pages that still don't have wiki equivalents.
