Wii Component Connections

Has anybody tested to see if the wii will display progressive scan gamecube games in progressive scan mode? The only reason I ask is because the cube I have with digital out bit the dust, and I am stuck with a cube that only does analogue out.  I am quite excited that my component cables will be here tomarrow for the Wii (can't wait to play zelda!) and I was hoping to see if the cube progressive would work too.

to answer your question, yes.
if you plug in a component cable to the Wii, and you're trying to play GC games in Prog-scan on a compatible TV, then it will have no problems converting them over and displaying the games in Prog-scan.
