PCE/IFU/CDRom doesn't power up

Hello,

I kept a PC Engine with IFU and CDRom in storage in the last few months and I decide to power it up due to a possible sale (no money has been sent) and I realize that it will not power up on the IFU LED screen.

I do not know what would of went wrong since I stored it in a shelf for so long.  Are the electronics fragile in those units?

I am just puzzled that it will not power up with the NEC power supply.

Please help a PC Engine user out.

Have you tried turning it on?  <snicker>

(it should be noted we hashed out the problem on ICQ and it was, in fact, not turned on).
