loss of access?

is anyone else here having connectivity problems to this forum?  (or gamesx in general)

it seems for every day, I just can't seem to access the forum, not from here, or at school, for about 5 hours at a time..  it's also totally random..

when i couldn't access it one day, i asked my father to connect to gamesx, and he could (he was at work)..

Lawrence is aware of sporadic hardware issues, and is already working on installing the website on a new host. Thanks for being patient while he moves our club to hardware that will hopefully be more reliable and consistent.

Anyway, yeah, it's making me insane.  I just blew half a grand on new server hardware, and this is how it repays me.  >=(

Ahh..  I know how it feels to have server troubles..

I got a domain controller in my network, that does other things too, like DNS, DHCP, NAS, RIS, VPN, and it has a wacky problem where sometimes it won't reboot, it just shuts down, and the HD is now getting "Bad Blocks", and it's causing me to get a new HD, which I don't even have the money for..  (hopefully I can pull off a mirrored RAID, but probably not)..
