I am planning on converting my Dreamcast to be placed inside a Jamma Cabinet and would like to know where I could find information on how to build an adapter that would allow both the A/V as well as controls in the cabinet to interact properly with the dreamcast.

Also, I would like to make these adapters with little to no modification done to the Dreamcast itself.... or as plug and play as possible.

In the spirit of convenience, I point you to this web site:

In short, to avoid modifying the Dreamcast you'll have to sacrifice at least one controller (with encoder intact) and the proprietary video connector from a VGA box or SCART cable. You'll also need a sync generator of some variety, and a plan for how to deal with games that use both analog and digital controls. Good luck.
