Genesis Model 2 S-Video to VGA

Can this be done with a cable?  If S-vid is available, can it be easily converted to RGB?  If so, point me in the right direction...

I have a SEGA CDX and a 32X with a 9-pin A/V output.  If this is the same as the Model 2 Genesis, then I'd just need to build the adapter.

Any hints/suggestions?

Please read more about the system and the outputs available.  The CDX pinout is the same as the Gen2, there's no Svideo, you shouldn't even dream of converting Svideo to RGB if there's already RGB available, and there's little point trying to convert svideo to VGA, it'll look like ass.

fwiw the only MD models that came with s-video out from factory were wondermega 1 and 2 both released in Japan only...
