PSone LCD not working

[XianXi]

I bought a PSone LCD from the swapmeet for $10 and it looked to be in great condition but when I hooked it up and powered it on, about 3/4 of the screen turns black and the remaining 1/4 is like a grayish green.

Is there a way to fix this? I opened up the LCD and saw no loose or broken connections.

Also there was no sound as well.
