Broken snes controller

Hey guys, ive got a copy of a snes controller and its broken I've opened it up but cant see anything obvious like a loose wire. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?

Your question is not something we can answer.  "It's broken" is incredibly vague. 

My guess, if the pad itself looks fine, is a broken wire in the cable itself.  It's a very common point of failure.
