Okay, I have created the world's first Genesis controller to Gamecube interface successfully. It is called "Sonic Controller Interface" and it allows you to connect a modified Genesis controller to a modified Gamecube controller which then plugs into the Gamecube. This will then allow you to use your good old Genesis controllers with Sonic Mega Collection and any other game you want, as long as you only use the three fire button configuration (A,B, and C work, while X,Y, and Z do not work). More information at KyleCorp
here.
Is it possible to have this project on the frontpage somewhere? If so please let me know!

nice!

the fact you can still use the GC controller is good news

as for not using X,Y and Z, they won't be missed anyway, and if someone really wants them, they could use a db15 connector instead of db9 although this would require a new cable for the genesis pad, while the db9 route keeps everything neat and tidy

well done!

While I definitely appreciate the effort you've put into it, and I by no means want to belittle your work, that massive gaping hole is gonna keep it off the front page.

I'm thinking thought, maybe it's time for a user-submitted mod section, what say you all?

That's a good idea!  Like a photo album of our little kids  ;)

In reality it's the same size as DB-9 connector, so it's not really that big. Then again it's kinda cool to see the inside of the controller. If I were to put in LED's or fill in the gaping hole somewhat would it make it to the frontpage then?

Who are you referring to as "little kids"?

"little kids" = "our projects" in this scenario

I am all for it Lawrence. But dont allow just photo albums, require that a guide be submitted with the pictures, and of course, no led mods. If you allow led mod's let me put mine up first :P

Hey Devr, ive noticed your using the same host im having problems with. I payed half a month ago and my account isnt set up.
forgive my broked english, for I am an AMERICAN

Yeah; I've had a hell of a lot of problems with FRandT. I'm seriously thinking of changing servers. The only reason I signed up with FRandT was because I couldn't find another host after as-hosting stopped free accounts.
