CDX imports

hey, does anyone know where the eprom/bios chip is located inside a CDX?  If not, does anyone know the product/chip number or the company that manufactures them?  I would love to deve;op a mod to make the CDX play CD imports with doing ISO images and so forth.  The Datel CDX never released a model (to the best of my knowledge) to play CDX imports.  So the only way to do this is to mod it internally.  Any info is helpful..thanks!
