Hi all.

Sorry if it is an offtopic. But PC-88 is relative to PC-98. And may be somebody will help me :)

I tried to write .d88 image using Greaseweazle for my 8801MR. All 40 tracks writed without any errors. But when I try to boot PC-88 from this floppy, disk drive clicks several times and does nothing else except spin the motor.

The seller showed on Yahoo that the computer boots successfully from a floppy disk.

Do anyone tried to write pc-88 floppies via Greaseweazle, or maybe there are other ways to do this?

Thanks.

I figured it out and will leave it for posterity.

The following command successfully writes .d88, .scp and other via greaseweazle:

gw write --tracks c=0-39:h=0,1:step=2 --dd=L --pre-erase filename.ext
