Cyber Stick & Afterburner?

Hey folks, anyone know how to get the Sharp Cyber Stick working with Afterburner? No matter what button I press on the stick, I can't get past the first menu in the game. I think the stick is OK as it works with Super Hang On, but I'm really not sure what I'm missing with Afterburner. Any help would be appreciated.

i believe that game is controlled by the mouse
F12 activates mouse control

Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I just clicked around on the keyboard and it seems OPT1 activates the analog joystick controls on the Cyber Stick. Now just need to figure out how to calibrate it..

Also, anyone know if the Sharp CZ-8NJ2 Cyber Stick manual is uploaded online? If not, I can scan mine so it's available for others. It shows how to switch some modes, though I've yet to try any of it.
