System sold, just the monitor now  :'(

I have a black Sharp X68000 Expert here I'm looking to sell in very, very nice shape and the following extras:

XSIMM10 10mb expansion board
SCSI2SD SCSI HDD emulator with SD card of the V4 HDD image by eidis

15" Grey CZ-602-D GY trisync monitor
Original Keyboard
Original trackball mouse

The original PSU has been replaced with an ATX PSU and the power switch works exactly as it should. Also the HDD LED works with the SCSI2SD.

As you can imagine, you can play every game on this setup.

Asking £200 plus postage worldwide.

All sold  :'(

Sadly I need the money.

It was high on my keep list but the list is thinning down now and I do at least have Akumajou Dracula on PS1...

Wow... And you just bought the xsimm10...   I guess I should have sold it for more if Id known it was just going to be resold right away :(   Though it sounds like something came up and you need money.  Hopefully the need is important and you wont regret selling the system later.

I certainly didn't buy the RAM to flip it, I'm making a loss on this overall to get it sold quickly. Something has come up and must take priority.

I'm sure I'll miss it, but real life problems are more important.

BlueBMW

Well hopefully you can find another way to resolve the issue since it is so hard to find good x68000 stuff these days.  I'd at least keep your monitor since that can be one of the hardest things to find...

RetroRepair

Yeah the monitor cost a bomb, that'd be the main part I'd keep if I could.

H68k

Damn shame your selling it RetroRepair.. I was kinda waiting for you to do some videos on it, and see from your point of view on what your thoughts of the X68k are.

Still, if you under desperate circumstances and need to sell it for a quick cash injection.. (I can sympathize with you here. as I my self have had to sell things I didn't want to over the years for "cash infusions") I just hope it go's to a good home.

Another option might be to just sell parts first.   Sell the Xsimm10 and the SCSI2SD but keep the main system and monitor for the time being.  Those are your heavy items to ship and will cost a lot to replace down the road.  The other parts are small and cheap.  Heck if you have a keyboard those are usually good for $80USD or so but they are a little more costly to ship.  Just a thought.

RetroRepair

Maybe, not sure I'd get what I need for them though  :'(

I may do a video on it before it goes, depends if I get the time.

I'd be in for the keyboard and mouse if you part out the setup. Would be nice to have a real keyboard for the times I've taken my system to get togethers.

Ok, if I were to split it up (which is a shame as it's a nice set) I'd go with this:

X68000 - £350
XSIMM10 - £120 (think that's what I paid with shipping?)
Keyboard - £85
Mouse - £45
SCSI2SD (with modded cable for SASI machines) - £70
Monitor with RGB cable - £200

So you can see, it'd be a nice deal for someone if they took the lot!

Just had a few games of Gradius 2. I will seriously miss this system :(

Never mind, the SIMMs were in the wrong slots. Works perfect!  :o
