Hello!

I've searched for a solution but i couldnt find anything so far.

I have a Nec MultiSync 4PG which supports all kinds of sync's, inputs and whatsoever. Now since a while the S Video input is kinda broken and the picture isnt right anymore.

I want to connect these 2 consoles to it through RGB.

I Tried to research something through 2 Scart cables. It seems the RGB channels are okay. :P Now, there is no sync signal routed through at all? Or is it in some strange format?

My monitor also accepts Composite Sync through H Sync. This worked fine with my Amstrad CPC and Atari ST.

But the sync-pin is not used for sync on those scart cables at all. Both conoles the same symptom.

Can anyone help?

The connector on the monitor side is a 15 pin VGA connector. But that wasnt the problem so far.

I believe SCART cables grab the composite video line for sync. Problem is most monitors won't accept it, use a LM1881 to strip the video out and it will likely work.

Thanks in Advance. Maybe i should power that directly at the scart adapter from the monitor side. What a pity...
