I'm looking for someone who knows how to mod controllers to build a custom pad for me. What I'd like is a Saturn pad that connects to the PS2.

Anyone built one of these before, and if so would be willing to put together another to sell?

You know, as long as you're only looking for a digital pad. You're probably better off buying one of these.

Unfortunately out of stock there atm though.
If it's a 3D Controller you want, that kind of conversion probably won't come cheap getting someone else to do it for you.

I'd offer to do a digital for you, but I'm not parting with my Japanese v2 pads, so I'd only have 3rd party ones that aren't so nice.

That's exactly what I want to buy, however, good luck to anyone trying to find one. They show up on Ebay every once in awhile, but go for outrageous amounts. The last one I saw started at over $100. Sega produced a few versions of these, in different colors, but it was limited production. They're out of stock everywhere and have been for some time. Apparently, they're also out of print.

And I'm not interested in the 3rd party pads either. Looking for either the Japanese pads or the second version of the US controllers. It would be so much simpler if someone had just manufactured an adapter from Saturn to PS2. I think it's the only one not in existence. Judging from the popularity of those you linked to, I'd say there's certainly a market for one. I'd capitalize on it if I knew how to mod and get $40-$50 a pop.

Yeah, these pads have been unavailable for ages.
