Q not reading GC discs anymore

Hey,

I have a question that I can't really find an answer to: my Panasonic Q doesn't read GC discs anymroe. DVDs work fine, and once it 'sees' a disc (after continually increasing amounts of tries) there's no problem, but it's gotten to the point where nothing runs anymore. Could this be a problem with mounting the disc internally (I have no idea how it works, just guessing here) or something?

Anybody know of this issue or have an idea where to look for the problem? Thanks in advance!

this very much sounds like the 'Pot' needs to be tweaked.........myself i just bought a broken GC from someone who said all games would boot 1 in 10 attempts , i adjusted the Pot and i now have 4 of 4 booting fine.
