Hi All,
I'm attempting to make a RGB cable for my Sony PVM-1910 monitor using the CMPTR port and a Euro SCART cable. It appears to be working except everything is green (red and blue show through it)... from what I've gathered searching this forum, it means that RGB mode isn't enabled. I've rechecked my connections, but they seem fine, so I'm wondering if I have the blanking pins connected wrong or maybe the way I have this set up is causing it.

I have pin 12 of the CMPTR port connected to pin 16 of the SCART connecter.
Assuming the 1910 CMPTR port has the same pinouts as the 2030, this is the pinout I'm following: here.

Now the way I've set this up is as follows. The 25-pin CMPTR port connects the the female end of a SCART extension cable. That then plugs into This. I didn't want to lop off the end of the spider SCART cable in case I scewed it up and I also want to make a second adapter to connect to a Commodore 1084 monitor.

Would I just be better off using the BNC connectors for RGB on this thing?
Thanks for any help.

viletim!

Tried connecting pin 10 - RGB/Normal to the blanking signal too?

Thanks for the suggestion, but it appears my own stupidity was the cause of the problem...
Apparently I never switched the PS2 I was testing it on back into RGB mode after I had played it. Oops. That's what I get for staying up late trying to wire it up I guess.
