N64 MAV/DENC Modchip

Hi there. I remember somebody taking about a Double You modchip for PAL N64 machines to get an RGB picture. Would these work for a MAV or a DENC DAC chip? If so where can I get one of these from, if they still exist??

Are there any non-modchip ways to get RGB out of these two chips?

The DENC video encoder doesn't generate RGB in any form, even before you blow the thing up. The DENC only appears to output Svideo/Composite. I can't comment on any other chip.

If the Double You chip requires connection across the video bus, then it could produce the RGB output. That would require connecting 9 pins up or so...
