Well, for one, a portable Sega Saturn. With a nice big screen that can allow for 2 players (so both can see  :D). Ah, being able to play NiGHTS and Panzer Dragoon on the road.

Another would be a handheld SNES. I want to buy an old SNES and make it portable. I know Ben Heckerdorn made one, and that's why I want to buy his book. Then I can play games like Super Mario RPG and Shadowrun on the road. (in Gir voice) I like Shadowrun. (in my voice) Cyberpunk is a favorite of mine.

Yet another would be a portable CDX. I was gonna follow segasonicfan's plans for making one. First I need to buy one.

Also, a universal modded screen for those TV games. Hook it up to attach to the back or whatever and play TV games on the road.

Finally, a portable Dreamcast. Where you can switch between a built-in controller or an attached one. Also, it should be easy to use the keyboard for Typing of the Dead (or maybe just buy it for my laptop). Also, easy to use with my arcade stick should be a plus.

Though there is an emu for it for the PSP, I guess a portable amiga. Leisure Suit Larry, Civilization, and others on tap on the road. Maybe take a crappy laptop and convert it.

TAFN. That's all for now.
or
TAF. That's all folks.

CD based games are usually NOT good for making portables. Yes they have been done, but they end up big and clunky, as well as sucks battery life dry (even the PSP only lasts 3 hours on batteries).

I say start on the SNES portable, Chrono Trigger on the road... *drools*

Any console that requires a fan to keep it's internals cool isn't a good choice for portable gaming. Generally fans are an indication that significant amounts of heat are produced. Heat is the waste product of power consumption hence fans mean high power consumption.

I seriusly doubt that you`ll be able to make a portable saturn, or maybe a portable but it would be huge. And as someone said, making cd consoles portable is not a too good idea... But yes it would be nice with a portable saturn =)

Right, your never gonna be able to sit in a hospital waiting room with these big ugly things. Portable mods have gotten out of hand. They are interesting but what about function? Perhaps you should aim to make your consoles semi portable! Make a screen that can mount to each console so you can play them in your car.
forgive my broked english, for I am an AMERICAN

Yeah, for CD-based systems, I might just make a portable screen.

Talking about what you'd ideally like isn't really doing it though, is it?
You've mentioned a Fatal Frame controller before but that was only an idea too.
I know you already make a few things, have seen your posts about them, but why don't you spend a bit more time concentrating on your one or two current projects than fantasising about what you'd like?
