I'm doing my Saturn

I've got a switch that is a Dual-Pole Dual-Throw and has three positions, centre being off.
Can I make this a three-way switch, so that I can have the centre as Europe on my Saturn? Or does the middle position literally contact with nothing?
If it contacts with nothing, how might I mod the Saturn in order that if the switch is off the Saturn can default to its native Europe?
