Necronomicon Digital Pinball Questions

So I've been playing this for a few days now, due in no small part to Lawerence's suggestion, since I too am all about the video pinball.

I just noticed now that I'm at the top of the highscore board for Arkham a string of characters that somewhat resemble gibberish on the opposing page in the 'book' from my high scores.

I also noticed I could zoom in with a magnifying glass.

Normally I'm all about figuring this sort of thing out but...yeah, I don't know if I'm missing something in the Japanese text.

So, my question is... What's up with that?

How did I miss this thread when it started?

Sadly I've packed up my Saturn for the near future, but it sounds like you're seeing a code that reflects your score.  It was used by Kaze for high score challenges.
