We're now running the latest SMF, and now we can add inline images when posting.  So upload an attachment, and an option is given to insert that attachment at the cursor's location.  Which, I mean, fucking finally.  It's not clickable but the image is clickable at the bottom of the post, so we're almost there.

Here are some of the new features.  Not all of them are new to this forum since we've been running a pre-release version for some time, but many of these features are new and very welcome.

As always, let me know if you run into any problems.

I've re-arranged the forums into a more logical, single list based on what makes sense, what I think is cool, and what I think is popular.

Let me know if you hate it, or if you even notice.  ;)

Personally, I preferred the old way with the more obvious subsections. It's a little strange to have FM Towns in the same forum section as say, RGB + video discussion (which is much more general).

Also, did i have an avatar before?  i thought i did...

no strong opinions about it though, whatever makes it easier to run the site!

The forum was previously divided into two categories, loosely NFGGgames and GameSX, which didn't really make a heap of sense.  So it didn't really change very much.  I considered grouping the computers into a different category, but when I was thinking about it, it seemed like there was too much topic crossover to divide it that way.  I'm open to different opinions.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As far as I can remember you have never had an avatar.  If you did, it was loooong ago.  The forum update did not remove it.  (I'm pretty sure!)
