Post by: MTD on November 02, 2022, 08:52:42 PM
Hello guys, can you help me understand some issues with the sharp floppy drives in my original x68k cz600?
Its behaving on ejecting the disks immidiatly when i put them and it was working fine after a re-grease/re-cap (both pcb and spindle-pcb). I don't know why it does so, whay could it be?? thanks

possibly your zero-index sensor position has shifted. see attachment. this distance should be 5.5mm.

it might not be necessary to loosen the adjusting screw. try to move the sensor slightly without turning the screw then tighten it.
