So my Fresh ET came with a drive that was setup with DOS/TownsOS on a MS-DOS EXT partition and Windows 3.1 installed on another MS-DOS EXT. The cool part was there were icons in TownsOS and Windows 3.1 that allowed you to flip back and forth between them. I have been trying to replicate the setup from scratch and can't seem to figure out how to generate the icons that switch between them. I figured it must be using the TownsOS boot CD and selecting the Windows 3.1 option at the beginning, but if I jump through the hoops to allow the TownsOS install CD to see MS-DOS EXT partitions (bootstrap it with an extended DOS 6.2 boot disk) the Windows 3.1 option is grayed out in the installer. I am open to any suggestions any one has. Thanks!
I reverse engineered it. It was basically a bunch of batch scripts that get run from TOS and Windows.
