I have a Lavie Na13/H10 and I would like to add an external floppy drive since it's very painful to use games that use a lot of disks.
I'm asking because I don't even know where or what to look for, since 98notes don't have scsi ports and I've only seen those big scsi external drives intended for desktop computers on Yahoo auctions.

Your specific 98Note has a "docking station" available for it. Generally, docking stations offer more ports and expansion capabilities than the laptop itself can handle.

Also, it appears that there is an adapter for 98Notes that allows you to use a second floppy drive. Below are pictures of the said adapter:

Today I found an external 98-Note disk drive Yahoo! Auctions:

I don't know if it will work with your Lavie Na13 (the auction description does not mention that model), but it seems like it should work. You may want to look into it some more before buying.
