Hi board

I have used the last couple of days reading about the N64 RGB DAC MOD. And just got a couple of questions.

1. What software are you guys using for programming the CPLD chip ? I have some trouble installing Xilinx's Webpack without installing some huge Software Package. Are there a alternative ?

2. What is the least expensive USB TOOL to use ?

3. When using the DAC, is it a must to Amplify the RGB signal between the DAC and the Television ?
