Looking to get the appropriate mod board for my navi, would like to know if anyone out there knows how many pins the ribbon cable has (i assume 20) and if a mod board works.
Don't you have the Navi yet? Crack it open and find out.
I know when I looked the pin count and/or the ribbon shape was completely different to all the regular systems, so while I didn't trace the signals to find out, I assumed it wasn't going to work.
i find myself deathly afraid of doing anything to the system at this point....i will get over it eventually, but right at this very moment, the thought of opening it up scares the crap out of me. Probably just the sticker shock still.
