Title: PC Steering wheel to...

... SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis

Well after a few months of searching for a steering wheel for the Mega Drive (with no luck) I decided to convert one so I went to a couple of car boot sales and found this THIS (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31215&item=5120514539&rd=1&ssPageName=WD2V) (well not that actual one, but the same model) it had a 15 pin male D connector. I snipped both ends off the cable and used the wire for the re-wiring. I basically wired the buttons (of the steering wheel) to a Mega Drive Control pad.

I did it all on my own with the use of common sense and trial and error, I feel really proud of myself and now I understand how control pad and steering wheels work.

Rowie.

Nice going there. Are you going to share any of your secrets with others? Someone else might be suitably inspired by your work!
