Title: Game Gear Speaker, problems
Post by: Martin on July 17, 2004, 05:04:51 AM
my Game Gear, when I have the volume up full you can bareley here the sounds even if the speaker is pressed against your ear, the volume control still makes it quieter if you turn it down, but the sound it so quiet youd think the volume control was turned down even when it's up full.
What's wrong with it?

Either your batteries are low, or your volume pot is dirty. Try replacing the batteries or cleaning the volume control.

Its obviously the volume pot,  You know with only 2 hours of gameplay per every 6 batterey Id think I'd have changed the battereys more than once  :P

There was a guide how to fix this, but it's gone (was there till 2 weeks ago and I haven cached it :( )

Here's googles cache: http://www.google.nl/search?q=cache:vzSivn...gfix.htm+&hl=nl (http://www.google.nl/search?q=cache:vzSivnXDowsJ:members.shaw.ca/gamegear/ggfix.htm+&hl=nl)

The author's e-mail is gamegear@shaw.ca, maybe he can re-up the tutorial
