Title: Advanced repair of X68000 Compact
Post by: buffi on September 12, 2025, 06:13:18 AM
I finally did a writeup for a repair I did recently on a X68000 Compact that I got which was completely dead on startup. It required quite a bit of debugging with a logic analyzer to figure out which ways it was busted, and could be an interesting read for other sickos who also like to repair these things.

That's awesome, great write-up.

If you happen to figure out what's keeping 16mhz mode from working, please let us know.  Same problem on one of my XVIs, and I lack the knowledge to debug it like you.
