Let me know if you need any help getting it working. It's a bit tricky, but we managed to get it running Glider at VCF West.

Don't have a mouse now to start using the emulator, maybe next week i will be able to test.
Thanks
Now i can run this, from the doc file you need to create "mac floppys" to actual floppys from the image ?.
Or you can use a floppy or hd image.
You must create actual floppies using the included utilities.
Hi, I'm trying to launch the Mac emulator on my X68000 XVI compact. I followed the instruction kindly given by Retrobits under his YouTube video:
- Extract the software: Iha x macos.Izh
- Put a blank 1.2MB floppy in the second drive and run the f512 command to format it. Hit 'y' to accept
- Write an 800k Mac image to the disk: conv finder.mac
- Add the ROM to the startup d file: db rom, 1e0000 < a
- Configure how much RAM you have, e.g. 8MB: cst 8m
- Run start2.bat to launch the emulator.
As I have a compact, I'm using a 3.25 floppy, but I think that I don't go so far that the emulator try to boot the disk. When I launch start2.bat, I have only a black screen.
Can you help me to make it run?
Thanks :-)
I'm not sure which video you're talking about, but a few things to check:
First, which set are you using, I used "MAC_SET".
Do you have the correct boot ROM? It needs to be a Japanese Macintosh Plus ROM. Mine has SHA-1 73bf2eb215646e108daa0cdd874e6c843c8ce421.
Not sure which startup file you're editing, I didn't have to do that.
This software is amazing, can play any mac plus games and apps excellent compatibility writing any 800k mac disk images is as easy as writing them to floppy.
Its a shame the emulator don't support hard discs.
Wondering there's any floppy emulator for the x68000 that can mount floppy disk images ?.
