Title: Super NES control Lockouts
Post by: Martin on June 19, 2004, 02:57:54 AM
Yeah... its as strange as hell... Super Nes Pads have region lockout in them, you cant use a NTSC pad on a PAL/SECAM system..
There are two Jumpers that are different (in different regions) on the controler PCB, in NTSC controllers Jumper 11 is closed, and Jumper 21 is open,
In PAL controlers Jumper 21 is closed and 1 is open...
I know you probobly already knew this... but I just found it weird..

Does anyone know if the machine mod on a PAL SNES makes all pads work or then just NTSC ones and not PAL ones?
