what would be required to turn a pal cube into an ntsc one?
or is it just not possible at all?
im guessing its not but still live in hope.

Unfortunatley... not even the professionals could get the GCN PAL hardware to convert to NTSC..
But "Datel" make boot discs for the PAL GCN.
TGhey're called "Free Loader" I have one.. just look on the net for one :lol:

yeah i have an action replay, it has a built in freeloader.
i would be very nice to direct boot imports tho..
what i really want though is to output ntsc.. freeloader doesnt do that.

Ahh well then you have a nice big shitty problem smeared all over your hands.. as you cant mod a PAL gamecube to NTSC without destroying it as far as Im aware..
Although 50/60 switches can be fitted to NTSC ones i think.
