Title: Internal Compact SCSI2SD setup -> mounting recommendations?
Post by: DejahThoris on July 02, 2020, 08:05:01 AM
So I bought one of Caius's adapters for setting up an internal SCSI2SD in my Compact, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where to place the SCSI2SD inside of the Compact.

It doesn't seem to fit near the adapter, or where the PSU once was.

What are others doing?

I own 2 X68K machines so my SCSI2SD is external and easily swap between them. But if I had to go internal on my compact I'd consider putting it in the expansion slot.

I suppose it could fit in there beside the MIDI card since I don't use both slots.

I wonder though if I could get the cable under the edge of the expansion housing without permanently altering anything.

Edit: The expansion housing definitely won't sit flush without modification :/
