Title: So low SCSI level error
Post by: mattsoft on November 21, 2019, 10:41:32 AM
Hi all - trying to install a SCSI2SD 5.1 externally on an ACE. No matter which SCSI ID I set for the SCSI2SD device, when the X68K boots and comes to that ID in the boot loader, it gives me a status/error "So low SCSI level". Any ideas what this error means? I used the guide here: https://gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=x68000:installing_scsi2sd_on_x68000_externally and have had success before with the short red SCSI2SD board (5.0b?). Thanks!

Hah! Fixed! I had to turn SCSI termination ON in the SCSI2SD config.
