Title: Fm Towns UX20 possible to upgrade cpu?

I'm curious if there is possibility to upgrade the UX20 cpu?

The UX series uses a SX 386 processor, which I do not think 486 DLC upgrade processors are a drop in replacement for.

The SX uses a 16 bit BUS, but the DX, and DLC processors use 32bit busses.

CPU upgrade is possible , but we need a person with direct hands for soldering legs of the processor.  Details can be found at the author's videos .

He is upgrading a DX machine, which is what I did as well. But I do not think it will work for SX CPU machines. Do report back if it does though, as then Marty systems should also be upgradable.
