Title: X68000 CPU Overclock
Post by: frankmonk on April 23, 2016, 01:23:10 AM
HI guys,

I just received a ACE which came with a oscillator and dip-Switch installed

what would be the best way to find if this cpu upgrade is working?

should I just check the Oszillator or is there any tool that I can run out of human68?

You could run Cho Ren Sha and see what it says for "CPU POWER" during boot.  100% i think denotes 10mhz, 166% is 16mhz etc.  Its not perfect but might work to at least see if there is a difference.

thanks for the link. :)
But there are just some general informations but no electronics schema to makes a switch frequency selector or the place where you could hack.
the Japanese guys loves to make a lot text where a simply schema or screen-shot will be better.
i'm not sure too  about the translation by google trad ;)
