Title: PSone, PS2 RGB output
Post by: Darkman on May 11, 2004, 05:28:27 AM
Hi there,

I've recently bought a PSone and - you guessed it - I will not accept anything less than RGB :). So I went to town searching for an RGB cable but found only one that is priced wisely - a Thrustmaster branded PS2 RGB SCART cable with separate audio outputs (great), RGB/Composite switch for watching DVDs and a Composite output for GunCon.
So, my question is - will this cable work with my PSone, in other words, did Sony change the pinout of their A/V Out port for PS2? Sorry if it sounds silly, but the salesperson didn't have a clue about Playstation accesories. I just don't want to waste my money.

Cheers,
Darkman

Same pinout; check the gamesx.com main page for details. This means that: yup, it'll work. :D
