Does anyone have a long gameplay recording (DEMO.REP) of Cho Ren Sha 68k? It would be nice to have one which shows all stages. 8)
Thanks in advance.
There is a thread on shmups that should have some replays:

Direct link to Icarus' replay file:

I think the replay files should work on the X68K version.
Is this for a particular Atari Falcon based project? ;)

Unfortunately the replay files are not compatible between the Windows and X68000 versions of Cho Ren Cha 68k and it seems that those are all replays from a Windows machine. :( The author notes (http://www2.tky.3web.ne.jp/~yosshin/my_works/postmortem.html) that there's a bug in the original version which prevents a correct replay on the X68000 but there are no further details about it.
So an original replay file from an X68000 would be nice.

Yes! ;)
Luckily I've found two interesting replays for the X68000 version of Cho Ren Sha 68k. You'll find them in the attachment.
DEMO.REP is quite impressive and shows a complete game. DEMO.REX shows the "Show Time" part (please rename it to "DEMO.REP" first). Put the desired file into the "ETC_DAT" folder of Cho Ren Sha 68k to be able to watch them.
Cool project! Any plans to port the music? The OST is one of the best parts of the entire game!

No, there are no plans to do that. I agree that it would complete the game but unfortunately the DSP is already quite busy. :(
