What games do you think would of best `suited` the X68000 that were never released? Bearing in mind the technical limitations of the hardware(s), the companies that favoured it and the era.
I think:
Retail:
Wonder Boy
Rolling Thunder
Scramble
Bomb Jack
Don Doko Don/Parasol Stars Pack
Tumble Pop
Robocop
3 Wonders
Puzzle Bobble
Premier Soccer
Major Title 2
Side Pocket
Captain Commando
F1-Dream
Hang-On
OutRun (Pushing it)
Ordyne (Pushing it)
Spelunker
Doujin:
Thunder Force II Horizontal Levels Only Version
Penguin Brothers
Sensible Soccer
Redone:
Viewpoint
R-Type
Space Harrier
Chase HQ
Tetris
Super Street Fighter II X instead of Super Street Fighter II
Valis III and Valis IV, also a remake of Valis I.
Valis II was so good on X68k, I think the saga deserved their premium versions on this machine.
Oh, also Contra from Konami would be a blast!
Burning force (probably would have to be dumbed down)
Gradius 3
A.b. Cop
Dynamite Dux
Raiden
Tatsujin
Thunder force 3
Wonder boy 2 and 3
Dungeon Explorer
Final Zone
Giardia/guardian legend (would kill for that...)
A Konami goonies game
...the list goes on.
Some fantastic choices there people.

Only cps-1 games were, but yeah, it would've been awesome have 1943, 1941 counter attack, willow, and forgotten worlds. For some reason, though sf2 is a bit gimped, particularly with the music. Doesn't make much sense considering it was developed on the x68k.
