Hi All,

I managed to get hold of an old mouse/trackball for my X68000.
However, the rollers are very stiff (particularly up and down) and it therefore doesn't really work as a mouse. It works ok as a trackball, but is still stiff and sticks.

Is there a way of freeing the rollers so they work smoothly again?

probably just needs a good cleaning. Clogged with dirt, dust, and hair.

Cleaned it up and used 3 in 1 oil on the bearings.

now works a LOT better ;)
